Tickets:
THB 1,800 for members and THB 2,000 for non-members. As the venue can only accommodate 70 guests, so you are advised to book early, first come first served. Due to the limited number of seats available, non-members must be accompanied by members, and tickets are only sold to members.

Lively Crayfish Party 2011
Scandinavian Society Siam was as vibrant as ever this Saturday night 1 October 2011 when the annual Crayfish Party kicked off at the Rembrandt Hotel with ScanDeli as the turnkey provider for the event. Bjorn Richardsson was MC and steered the evening through the welcome speech by Anita Falk, Chairman of the Scandinavian Society Siam, a greeting from Sirpa Nyberg of the Finnish Embassy, and the drawing of the lottery. All the rest of the fun, the drinking and dancing the participants manage just fine all by themselves..

New Board of Scandinavian Society Siam
Followng the Annual General Meeting on 26 April 2011, where a completely new Board was elected, the members of the new board met on 2 May 2011 to constitute itself as follows:

The first board meeting, which took place at Anita Falk's Cafe Europa in Sukhumvit Soi 20, identified among the priority tasks at hand the need to review and consolidate the different member lists in order to be able to invoice the members for the 2011-2012 term. The board also looked into possible dates for a Craytfish Party after the summer.

The cafe is open every day from 12 noon to 01 am. Here you can pay your member fee, ask questions and get information.
The SSS library previously found at the Church of Sweden will be installed at Cafe Europe as soon as possible, so we will need volunteers to maintain the library. In the nearest future there will also be a laptop with internet connection available for members.

The History of Scandinavians in Thailand
